Q: What is my poster size?
A: A1.
Q: What is the format for the poster?
A: There is no specific format, but you may follow the templates provided in the DOWNLOAD menu.
Q: What language should I use for my product abstract?
A: English.
Q: What is the length of the product description?
A: No specific length is required. You may follow the templates provided in the DOWNLOAD menu.
Q: Is there a live online presentation this year?
A: No. For iCE-CInno 2026, judging will be based on video presentations and submitted materials. There is no live session via Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams unless otherwise announced by the organizer.
Q: What must I submit?
A: According to the Terms and Conditions (Section 4), all submissions must include:
- Project report / poster
- Presentation slides
- Video presentation (if required)
All files must follow the format and size limits specified by the organizer. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Q: What happens if I miss the video submission deadline?
A: Late submissions will not be accepted (Section 4.4). Failure to submit may lead to disqualification (Section 11).
Q: Can I register after the closing date?
A: No. Late registrations are not entertained unless approved by the organizer (Section 2.4).
Q: Are registration fees refundable?
A: No. Fees are non-refundable after successful submission unless stated otherwise by the organizer (Section 3.3).
Q: Is cash payment accepted during the competition period?
A: Yes. A cash payment counter will be available, handled by the UMPSA Bursary.
Q: Can I get a receipt during the exhibition?
A: It depends on the payment method:
- Cash payment → Receipt issued immediately by UMPSA Bursary.
- Online transfer, cheque, EFT, TT, IBG → Receipt given on registration day. Please email proof of payment as instructed.
Q: What documents should I bring for payment purposes?
A: Proof of participation and original LO/PO (if applicable).
Q: Can I purchase extra medals or certificates for group members (>1 person)?
A: Yes. After the closing ceremony, the group representative may submit an order form at the counter. Immediate collection depends on medal availability and payment.
Q: How do I pay for additional certificates and medals?
A: Payment can be made at the UMPSA Bursary counter. Debit card payment is advised. You may order first, and delivery will be arranged to your registered address once proof of payment is received.
Q: How will projects be judged?
A: Based on Section 6 of the Terms and Conditions, evaluation covers:
- Creativity and innovation
- Commercial potential
- Presentation quality
- Impact and relevance
- Technical content
The judges’ decision is final.
Q: How do winning teams receive cash prizes?

Q: Will participants receive certificates?
A: Yes. E-certificates will be provided to all participants (Section 10).
Q: Who owns my project?
A: Participants retain ownership of their projects and intellectual property rights. However, the organizer may use submitted materials for promotion, publication, education, and documentation purposes with proper acknowledgment (Section 7).
Q: What can get me disqualified?
A: According to Section 11:
- Submitting false information
- Plagiarism or copyright infringement
- Failing to follow submission guidelines
- Missing the video presentation deadline without valid reason
- Violating any competition rules
Q: Can the organizer change rules or schedules?
A: Yes. The organizer reserves the right to amend rules, change schedules, or postpone/cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances. Amendments will be announced through official channels (Section 9).
